Description

Acclaimed all over the world by the greatest names in cuisine for their delicacy and freshness, Griottines are delicious wild morello cherries, pitted and soaked in liqueur, the unique recipe of which is a closely-guarded secret.
Griottines can be eaten at any time of the day: as an aperitif or in a cocktail, and can be eaten straight from the jar or in a recipe.

In 1955, Claude Peureux launched the first Morello cherries for chocolatiers, which later became the Griottines. In the 1980s, these were wild Morello cherries laid in a light cherry syrup, a now world-renowned specialty.
